Simon Stephens, one of theater’s most original voices brings to blazing, theatrical life the uncertain and often comical sparring match that is human connection.

Mike Monroney is a Colorado native and long-time veteran of the fabled Crystal Palace. He is the “History Coach” for the Aspen Historical Society, and his play, "A Briefly Complete History of Aspen" has been performed throughout (and outside of) Colorado. He has acted and/or directed for most of the theatre companies in the valley, including Thumnder River Theatre Company (TRTC) where he is a founding member of “Consensual Improv” and current president of the TRTC board. Broadcast experience includes Vail TV8, ESPN, Channel 16 Aspen Today, Plum TV, Aspen 82, and Aspen Public Radio.

Mike Monroney is a Colorado native and long-time veteran of the fabled Crystal Palace. He is the “History Coach” for the Aspen Historical Society, and his play A Briefly Complete History of Aspen has been extensively performed in Colorado as well as in Los Angeles and Lincoln.

Mike has acted and/or directed for Theatre Aspen, Thunder River Theatre Co., the Hudson Reed Ensemble, Aspen Fringe, Sopris Theatre Co., Snowmass Chapel, The Broadway Players, and Aspen Community Theatre.

His 2017 production of Constellations at TRTC was nominated for three Henry Awards including Best Production of a Play and Best Director. Mike is one of the original members of TRTC’s resident comedy troupe, “Consensual Improv.” His last appearance for the AFF was as Torvald in A Doll’s House, Part 2.
