David Ledingham

Executive/Artistic Director & AFF Founder

Founder & Executive/Artistic Director of AFF, he has fostered the development of numerous new plays with award winning playwrights including Simon Stephens (Tony Award), Sharr White (Tony/Emmy noms) and AFF’s 2017 commissioned play, Angry Alan, by Penelope Skinner (2025 Outer Circle Award nomination for Best Play, starring John Krasinski).  David was nominated for Outstanding Actor for his role in Samuel Beckett's Endgame (2024 Henry Awards) and in 2026 played Harold in K2 (both at TRTC).

Acting Credits include: BROADWAY: Signor Nacarelli in the Broadway National Tour of Lincoln Center’s Tony Award-winning The Light in the Piazza. LONDON: Steppenwolf Theatre’s Tony Award winning The Grapes of Wrath, at The National Theatre, London and La Jolla Playhouse. OFF-BROADWAY: Antipholus The Comedy of Errors, and Quartet at B.A.M. REGIONAL: Josiah Bartlet in 1776 (American Conservatory Theatre); Daniel Cavanaugh in Chinglish (Berkeley Repertory Theatre); Jack in The Weir, Oscar in The Odd Couple, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, The Guardsman in Enter the Guardsman and Ivor Fish in Rough Crossing (Jewel Theatre). Sir Robert in An Ideal Husband and Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights (Paper Mill Playhouse); Overtime (The Old Globe Theatre); Sergius in Arms and the Man (Asolo Theatre); Laertes in Hamlet (Merrimack Repertory Theatre); Victor Fleming in Moonlight & Magnolias, George Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life, Klinglehoff in The Underpants, Tito Merelli in Lend Me A Tenor, Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night, Harry Chapin in Lies & Legends and Joe Foster in Becky’s New Car (Theatre Aspen).

David starred in the film Final Judgement, the 2024 film The Long Step, was a series

regular on ABC’s One Life to Live, and Guest Starred on Law & Order, etc. 

He co-wrote and directed the play The Song that killed the Snake, with a 16 piece chamber orchestra at the LA Philharmonic, directed the film Hitler Stalin & Walter O’Malley and has directed plays nationally including Art, The Last 5 Years, and 13 for Theatre Aspen. In 2025 David wrote and performed Lincoln Goes to Hollywood and will tour the play in 2027. He earned an MFA in acting from UCSD.

Brad Moore

Associate Artistic Director/Tech Director

He directed last year’s Lincoln Goes to Hollywood and
Enter the Guardsman for the Aspen Fringe Festival in 2024 and has been working with AFF for over 10 years.

Producing Artistic Director for the Sopris Theatre Company, recognition of Brad’swork includes awards from the Colorado Theatre Festival and the American
Association of Community Theatre (AACTFest).

He has been a director and designer for Aspen Stage, Snowmass Repertory Theatre, Long Beach Civic Light Opera, Aspen Community Theatre, Wisconsin Youth Theatre, Thunder River Theatre Company,
and Theatre Aspen School. Brad serves on the boards of Aspen Stage, Colorado Community Theatre Coalition, and Aspen Community Theatre. Brad served as the Production Manager for Theatre Aspen and was the resident Lighting and Sound Designer for Thunder River Theatre Company. He is the Colorado State Representative and is on the Festival Commission for the American Association of Community Theatre.

Adrianna Thompson

Director of Dance/Resident Choreographer

Adrianna is Artistic Director of SOULSKIN Dance and has premiered numerous works at AFF, including Beauty, Chasing the Light, Blue Eclipse, Closer, Satin & Swing, Denim & Diamonds, and A Pop Culture Journey Part I & II.

 

In NYC, Adrianna choreographed & premiered Blinded and Unpredictable Encounters at Ailey Citigroup Theater(2026), Beauty at Mark Morris Dance Center(2024) and at New York Live Arts(2022). SOULSKIN Dance  has premiered works at Dance Mission Theater, PUSHFest, SjDANCEco, Mark Foehringer Dance Project, Boulder Dairy Arts Center and twice for the Aspen Art Museum.

 

Adrianna choreographed three  dance films, Shelter in Place  (2020),  and CLOSER (2021) and Chasing the Light(2024) with Filmmaker Jaco Strydom  and Alchemy Arts Collective, which premiered at Joshua Tree Retreat Center and Diamond Star Ranch(2024). Adrianna danced professionally in New York City with Battery Dance Co, Carolyn Dorfman Dance Co, Mark DeGarmo & Dancers, and worked with Bella Lewitzky, Milton Myers, Jonathan Wolken, Brenda Daniels, Risa Steinberg, and Mary Jane Eisenberg.

 

As Artistic Director of MEFTAS Dance Theatre her choreography was presented at Joyce SoHo, Cunningham Studio, Riverside Theatre, Mulberry Street Theater, Downtown Arts Festival, Trisha Brown Studios, Movement Research, Theater for the New City and Dance Space. 

 

She was on faculty for Aspen Santa Fe Ballet for ten years, and guest faculty for Alonzo King LINES Ballet.  She just completed her fourth season collaborating with Alchemy Arts Collective in Joshua Tree, CA.

She is a GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® Specialized Master Teacher and has traveled the world teaching the method for over 30 years.

Donald & David have been collaborating for 30 years and founded AFF.
