David Ledingham

Executive Director & AFF Founder

David co-wrote and directed the play The Song that killed the Snake, with a 16 piece chamber orchestra at the LA Philharmonic, directed the film Hitler Stalin & Walter O’Malley and has directed plays nationally including Art, The Last 5 Years, and 13 for Theatre Aspen. Acting credits include Signor Nacarelli in the Broadway National Tour of Lincoln Center’s Tony Award-winning The Light in the Piazza and in Steppenwolf Theatre Company’s Tony Award-winning production of The Grapes of Wrath at the National Theatre, London and the La Jolla Playhouse, Off-Broadway: The Comedy of Errors, The Trojan Women and Quartet (Brooklyn Academy of Music). Regional favorites include Daniel Cavanaugh in Chinglish at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Josiah Bartlet in 1776 at American Conservatory Theatre, directed by Tony Award Winner Frank Galati, Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights & Sir Robert Chiltern in An Ideal Husband (both at Papermill Playhouse). Jack in The Weir, Oscar in The Odd Couple, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, and the Title role in the musical Enter the Guardsman (all at the Jewel Theatre) and in 7 productions at Theatre Aspen. 2024 Henry nominated Best Actor: Hamm in Samuel Becketts Endgame at TRTC. Film & TV credits include Starring in the film Final Judgement, in Law & Order, series regular on ABC’s One Life to Live. He Stars in the film The Long Step and holds an MFA in Acting from UCSD

Brad Moore

Associate Artistic Director/Tech Director

Directed last year’s Enter the Guardsman for the Aspen Fringe Festival and has been working with AFF for over 10 years. He has been a director and designer for Aspen Stage, Snowmass Repertory Theatre, Long Beach Civic Light Opera, Aspen Community Theatre, Wisconsin Youth Theatre, Thunder River Theatre Company, and Theatre Aspen School. Brad serves on the boards of Aspen Stage, Colorado Community Theatre Coalition, and Aspen Community Theatre. Brad served as the Production Manager for Theatre Aspen and was the resident Lighting and Sound Designer for Thunder River Theatre Company. He is the Colorado State Representative and is on the Festival Commission for the American Association of Community Theatre. Brad is the Producing Artistic Director for the Sopris Theatre Company.

Recognition of Brad’s work includes awards from the Colorado Theatre Festival and the American Association of Community Theatre (AACTFest).

Adrianna Thompson

Director of Dance/Resident Choreographer

Adrianna is Artistic Director of SOULSKIN Dance, which has premiered numerous times at AFF, in 2022 at New York Live Arts and at Dance Mission Theater, PUSHFest, SjDANCEco, Mark Foehringer Dance Project, Santa Barbara HH11 Dance Festival, Boulder Dairy Arts Center and twice for the Aspen Art Museum. Adrianna has choreographed two  dance films, Shelter in Place  (2020),  and CLOSER (2021) and now Chasing the Light with Filmmaker Jaco Strydom  and Alchemy Arts Collective, which premiered at Joshua Tree Retreat Center and Diamond Star Ranch in 2024. Adrianna danced professionally in New York City with Battery Dance Co, Carolyn Dorfman Dance Co, Mark DeGarmo & Dancers, and worked with Bella Lewitzky, Milton Myers, Jonathan Wolken, Brenda Daniels, Risa Steinberg, and Mary Jane Eisenberg. In NYC her choreography was presented at Joyce SoHo, the Cunningham Studio, The Riverside Theatre, Mulberry Street Theater, the Downtown Arts Festival, Trisha Brown Studios, Movement Research, Theater for the New City and Dance Space..  She was on faculty for Aspen Santa Fe Ballet for ten years, and guest faculty for Alonzo King LINES Ballet.  She is a GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® Specialized Master Teacher and has been practicing the method for 30 years. In the Fall of 2024 she will premiere an epic ballet titled the BEAUTY Project at the James and Martha Duffy Performance Space at Mark Morris Dance Group.

Donald & David have been collaborating for 30 years and Founded Upcoming Film: Nuremberg (opposite Michael Shannon), Animal Friends (starring Ryan Reynolds, Jason Mamoa, Aubrey Plaza and Dan Levy). Past Film: Red White & Royal Blue (opposite Uma Thurman) and The Great Escaper (opposite Michael Caine). Upcoming TV: Series Regulars on Eric/Netflix (playing Benedict Cumberbatch’s boss “Jerry”), Rematch/HBO (opposite Aidan Quinn) and guest star on The Regime /HBO (opposite Kate Winslet). Series lead on BBC’s Wreck (Hulu in USA). Recurring roles on Pack of Lies (BBC1), Season 3 Jack Ryan/Amazon, The Pentaverate/Netflix, two seasons in Deep State/Disney+ (opposite Mark Strong), Modern Family, The West Wing, Frasier. Toronto & London’s West End: Gielgud Theatre, lead role of “Nick Laine” in Girl From The North Country; Vaudeville Theatre, True West, (opposite Kit Harington); Soho Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe, India & Aspen Fringe: Angry Alan by Penelope Skinner (Edinburgh Fringe First Award); Ireland: Lyric Theatre/Belfast, “James Tyrone, Jr.” in A Moon for the Misbegotten. MFA in Acting from UC San Diego/La Jolla, Moscow Art Theatre.
